The words at the top of this picture are wrong teaching to those who live in Christ.
Fears do not bind those who are in Christ Jesus.
It's a deep love for God that causes us to love others who live in fear.
You see Jesus came to set us free from fear.
So that we would love each other, not matter what.
Fear stands for False Evidence Appearing Real. (sin or self-first is rooted in fear).
Love has no fear. Love and sin cannot live in your heart, mind, and will. Jesus came to put love in your heart and to wipe out fear.
When Eve believed the serpent (the devil or satan) and was deceived fear set in. Fear caused her to sin (self-first).
When we are focused on "SELF" and focused on the "PROBLEM", instead of God and loving Him and loving others this is what causes fear. We don't need mustard up courage to cast out fear, we need love in our heart, in our mind, our choices, and our actions. A motive of love will never have fear. Let me say that again, Jesus' motive was love, which brought him to earth to die on the cross and rise again unto life, so that we could have life, and that we would have love in our hearts, mind, and will. Strength does not come from courage. Strength comes from Love. Only Love casts our fear. Fear is a lie from the liar (the devil). Love is from God. God is Love. Love has ZERO fear. Love is Truth. Fear is a Lie.
Don't buy the lie the devil tells you. You have Christ in you, the hope of glory. If you have fear you cannot live in love. Love and fear cannot co-exist in you.
After the devil deceived Eve, she had doubt and lack (fear). She doubted God and believed the lie that she lacked knowledge or wisdom, and she believed the lie she wouldn't die if she ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Thus, her fear caused her to sin and eat (eat = do). She didn't believe God or put God first. She chose to self-gratify, self-first, and her motive was about getting not giving or loving God. She did the wrong and selfish thing. God warned the man that if he did eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil (a.k.a. chose to do the unloving and selfish thing) that he would surely die. Note: eating from the tree of knowledge of good and evil is a metaphor for believing and doing the good and loving nature God made them to do (to love God, to believe God, to trust God, to do good and not evil or self-first or self-gratification) .
The devil wants you to have a motive of getting, rooted in fear, so that you worry, control, become discouraged, treat others poorly, give up, and keep focusing on yourself and the problems. Yet, remember the Lord is your shepherd, you are not in want. In the old testament David didn't have the holy Spirit living in him like you and I do. He had the God's holy Spirit with him. Christ lives in you (John 17:26). That's why Jesus came so that God could start over and breath His Spirit (Love) into our being (spirit, soul, and body). Ephesians 1:13 and 1 Thessalonians 5:23. He has reconciled you to Him by you believing in Jesus as your Lord and Savior and receiving the Holy Spirit.
You are of Christ. Christian = Christ - ian.
"ian" = of
"ian" = belong to, or one of.
Christ is God. God is love.
You are a Love-ian (Christ-ian).
You are born of love. Born or God. Born again. Sealed with the holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13). Love lives in you. Fear cannot live in Love.
Love casts out fear. You have no fear.
As your motive (heart) and actions are of Christ. You are no longer the old nature.
You are dead to self-getting, self-gratifying, and you lack nothing. (Romans 6:1-11, Colossians 1:26-28)
Don't go back to lack. Don't buy the lie of doubting God and that you are not enough.
The liar is the devil. The devil does not live in you. Jesus lives in you. You can't be of fear or sin or in lack.
God has given you everything you need to live a life of godliness.
2 Peter 1:3, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
2 Timothy 1:7 God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Philippians 4:13, I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
You can do all things with a motive of LOVE. This is your nature.
Christ in you the hope of glory.
God loves you. You are love. You do love.
Who you are is what you do.
Who you BE is what you DO.
Be to Do.
Remember and know: I am Whose I am.
My heart, mind, and will are of LOVE (Jesus in me, my life is his).
It's no longer I that live but Christ in me.
Galatians 2:20, I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Fear (or sin) cannot and does not live in Love. God lives in you and has his way in you.
Acts 17:28, For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
1 John 4:16-17, And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
This is who you are. Your identity, nature, motive, choices, actions, and results are LOVE.
